""SCAMMED $12,000" It was misleading and deceptive conduct, the manager was corrupt and not a certified doctor like their website states, he convinced me it was an advanced strand by strand hair transplant procedure and stole my money for a cheap wig that I didn't want. He lied about being to get a refund and wouldn't give the money back because I signed a legally binding contract and agreed to it. The problem was poorly handled, they had a complete lack of empathy and it was the worst service that you can possible experience. It was a nightmare, and I couldn't get the money back, they denied my claims and were extremely rude to me. DO NOT go to Advanced Hair Studio, their criminals that take advantage of vulnerable people and steal their money. AVOID this shady business and eventually they will go out of business. Look for other options for hair loss and do your research."

About this listing
Advanced Hair Studio in Hobart, Hobart
Advanced Hair Studio is a non-surgical practice in Hobart, a suburb of Hobart in TAS. Non-surgical cosmetic clinics provide procedures such as injectables, energy-based devices, peels and skin treatments. These services are governed by AHPRA advertising guidelines and the relevant scope-of-practice rules for the treating practitioner.
All information on this page β including contact details, opening hours, and any photos β is sourced from publicly available business directory data and the practice's own published material. This profile has not yet been independently verified by our editorial team. If you are the practice owner, you can claim the listing to confirm details and update copy. Always confirm a treating practitioner's registration directly on the AHPRA register before booking β the public register is the authoritative source for current registration status, specialist endorsements, and any conditions, undertakings or restrictions on practice.
Hobart is one of the larger cosmetic-care markets in TAS, with practices ranging from Specialist Plastic Surgeons (FRACS) operating in licensed day-hospitals through to non-surgical clinics in suburban shopfronts. When comparing practices, consider where surgery is actually performed, whether the anaesthetist is a Specialist Anaesthetist (FANZCA) where applicable, and what the clinic's written revision policy looks like. Quotes should cover the full pathway β consultation, surgical fee, anaesthetist fee, hospital fee, garments and standard follow-up β rather than a single headline figure.
Non-surgical cosmetic procedures β injectables, laser and energy-based devices, peels and skin treatments β must still be carried out by an appropriately registered practitioner working within their scope of practice. Schedule 4 prescription products (which include most cosmetic injectables) require a consultation with a doctor or nurse practitioner and an individual prescription for that patient. Reasonable practices document the practitioner providing the prescription, the practitioner administering the treatment, and the dose given.
