"Not the place it was under Loren's leadership - the culture has changed and not for the better. Jan 2026 edit - Loren didn't leave over two years ago, she left in May 2024, making it approximately 18 months when I wrote the original review. I'm also aware that all of your senior staff left they were so disgruntled with the new management approach, which moved away from prioritising customer care and satisfaction. When staff left in Christmas 2025, instead of actually stepping up and showing some leadership when this happened, you (the new owners) had junior staff members call customers to cancel appointments and reschedule in the 2025 New Year period, instead of doing this yourselves after staff resigned. At the salon for an appointment while this was happened, I was appalled at the absence of any sort of senior management to handle this issue and the abuse junior staff were subjected to."

About this listing
Alchemy Beauty Lab in Campbell, Canberra
Alchemy Beauty Lab is a non-surgical practice in Campbell, a suburb of Canberra in ACT. Non-surgical cosmetic clinics provide procedures such as injectables, energy-based devices, peels and skin treatments. These services are governed by AHPRA advertising guidelines and the relevant scope-of-practice rules for the treating practitioner.
All information on this page β including contact details, opening hours, and any photos β is sourced from publicly available business directory data and the practice's own published material. This profile has not yet been independently verified by our editorial team. If you are the practice owner, you can claim the listing to confirm details and update copy. Always confirm a treating practitioner's registration directly on the AHPRA register before booking β the public register is the authoritative source for current registration status, specialist endorsements, and any conditions, undertakings or restrictions on practice.
Canberra is one of the larger cosmetic-care markets in ACT, with practices ranging from Specialist Plastic Surgeons (FRACS) operating in licensed day-hospitals through to non-surgical clinics in suburban shopfronts. When comparing practices, consider where surgery is actually performed, whether the anaesthetist is a Specialist Anaesthetist (FANZCA) where applicable, and what the clinic's written revision policy looks like. Quotes should cover the full pathway β consultation, surgical fee, anaesthetist fee, hospital fee, garments and standard follow-up β rather than a single headline figure.
Non-surgical cosmetic procedures β injectables, laser and energy-based devices, peels and skin treatments β must still be carried out by an appropriately registered practitioner working within their scope of practice. Schedule 4 prescription products (which include most cosmetic injectables) require a consultation with a doctor or nurse practitioner and an individual prescription for that patient. Reasonable practices document the practitioner providing the prescription, the practitioner administering the treatment, and the dose given.
