"Ian Holton saw me 7 hours after a level four melanoma was discovered. He operated immediately to remove the melanoma. I had follow up PET scans and a lymph node biopsy. I visit him twice a year to have my skin checked. Ian is the best. His staff and his doctors always look after me. I would give him ten stars!"

"An older friend was quoted nearly $1000 for a consultation and biopsy. I rang a few other places and Qutis Skin Check Clinic did it the next day, the same thing less than a tenth of the price. If you care about costs shop around."

About this listing
Australian Skin Face Body in Geelong, Geelong
Australian Skin Face Body is a non-surgical practice in Geelong, a suburb of Geelong in VIC. Non-surgical cosmetic clinics provide procedures such as injectables, energy-based devices, peels and skin treatments. These services are governed by AHPRA advertising guidelines and the relevant scope-of-practice rules for the treating practitioner.
All information on this page β including contact details, opening hours, and any photos β is sourced from publicly available business directory data and the practice's own published material. This profile has not yet been independently verified by our editorial team. If you are the practice owner, you can claim the listing to confirm details and update copy. Always confirm a treating practitioner's registration directly on the AHPRA register before booking β the public register is the authoritative source for current registration status, specialist endorsements, and any conditions, undertakings or restrictions on practice.
Geelong is one of the larger cosmetic-care markets in VIC, with practices ranging from Specialist Plastic Surgeons (FRACS) operating in licensed day-hospitals through to non-surgical clinics in suburban shopfronts. When comparing practices, consider where surgery is actually performed, whether the anaesthetist is a Specialist Anaesthetist (FANZCA) where applicable, and what the clinic's written revision policy looks like. Quotes should cover the full pathway β consultation, surgical fee, anaesthetist fee, hospital fee, garments and standard follow-up β rather than a single headline figure.
Non-surgical cosmetic procedures β injectables, laser and energy-based devices, peels and skin treatments β must still be carried out by an appropriately registered practitioner working within their scope of practice. Schedule 4 prescription products (which include most cosmetic injectables) require a consultation with a doctor or nurse practitioner and an individual prescription for that patient. Reasonable practices document the practitioner providing the prescription, the practitioner administering the treatment, and the dose given.
Questions to ask before you book
- Who is the treating practitioner, and what is their AHPRA registration number?
- Which procedures does the practice perform on-site versus referring out?
- For prescription products, who provides the prescription and who administers the treatment?
- What is the protocol if you have an adverse event after a treatment?
- What follow-up is included in the quoted price?
- What does the full quote include β consultation, treatment, follow-up, and any garments or aftercare products?
- Are you given written information to take home before consenting to a procedure?
