"Very unprofessional and immature staff who are confused with their professional role."

"Maybe it’s too early to give any comments yet. I had my first treatment of fat freezing in May and followed through with my second treatment in June. I’m booked for my third treatment end of July. So far I haven’t seen any physical results and am a little disheartened since the amount of money I put forward with no outstanding results yet. As I said maybe it’s too early Several months after the treatment I have unfortunately seen no measurable results. I was informed I would lose centimetres from my waist; however, I have not even lost 2 cm. If anything, the measurements around the treated area have increased. I was offered the option to return for an additional treatment at a slightly reduced cost, but I declined. After spending several thousand dollars I expected visible and measurable results — not the opposite of what was promised. Based on my experience, I do not recommend this treatment. .😡"

"Alex was extremely helpful explaining what I was looking for without injections of any kind. Alex walked through every procedure with me. I can’t believe the results so far."

"I’ve recently started with the girls at Body Catalyst Geelong and where would I begin. The treatments they recommend are simply amazing. I’ve had fantastic results with the cryo. The team are just lovely and so supportive of one another. Can’t wait to come back!"

About this listing
Body Catalyst Geelong in Geelong West, Geelong
Body Catalyst Geelong is a non-surgical practice in Geelong West, a suburb of Geelong in VIC. Non-surgical cosmetic clinics provide procedures such as injectables, energy-based devices, peels and skin treatments. These services are governed by AHPRA advertising guidelines and the relevant scope-of-practice rules for the treating practitioner.
All information on this page — including contact details, opening hours, and any photos — is sourced from publicly available business directory data and the practice's own published material. This profile has not yet been independently verified by our editorial team. If you are the practice owner, you can claim the listing to confirm details and update copy. Always confirm a treating practitioner's registration directly on the AHPRA register before booking — the public register is the authoritative source for current registration status, specialist endorsements, and any conditions, undertakings or restrictions on practice.
Geelong is one of the larger cosmetic-care markets in VIC, with practices ranging from Specialist Plastic Surgeons (FRACS) operating in licensed day-hospitals through to non-surgical clinics in suburban shopfronts. When comparing practices, consider where surgery is actually performed, whether the anaesthetist is a Specialist Anaesthetist (FANZCA) where applicable, and what the clinic's written revision policy looks like. Quotes should cover the full pathway — consultation, surgical fee, anaesthetist fee, hospital fee, garments and standard follow-up — rather than a single headline figure.
Non-surgical cosmetic procedures — injectables, laser and energy-based devices, peels and skin treatments — must still be carried out by an appropriately registered practitioner working within their scope of practice. Schedule 4 prescription products (which include most cosmetic injectables) require a consultation with a doctor or nurse practitioner and an individual prescription for that patient. Reasonable practices document the practitioner providing the prescription, the practitioner administering the treatment, and the dose given.
Questions to ask before you book
- Who is the treating practitioner, and what is their AHPRA registration number?
- Which procedures does the practice perform on-site versus referring out?
- For prescription products, who provides the prescription and who administers the treatment?
- What is the protocol if you have an adverse event after a treatment?
- What follow-up is included in the quoted price?
- What does the full quote include — consultation, treatment, follow-up, and any garments or aftercare products?
- Are you given written information to take home before consenting to a procedure?
