  1. Chi T. ★★★★★

"Cosmetic Medical Clinic have been outstanding with how they have been taking care of me throughout their treatment of my keloids. For 5 years, I have been hesitant to seek medical treatment because I was concerned that I could not balance my treatment with my high pressure and fast-paced work commitments, but laser practitioner Jenner Chan and Dr. Chen Chew Chua have been incredibly knowledgeable, kind and caring towards me as I underwent my treatments. I was initially drawn to the clinic due to its accessible location within the heart of the CBD that made it convenient for me to reach after work but then I discovered so many more benefits to choosing Cosmetic Medical Clinic for my Keloid treatments! Jenner Chan's skills, extensive experience and unwavering passion for her work as a laser practitioner has made me feel extremely safe and comfortable throughout our laser treatment sessions. I also appreciate how she is very transparent with the realities of how difficult it is to treat my type of Keloid. Yet, with the combined expertise of Dr. Chen Chew Chua, they have both been supportive with giving me a treatment plan that is affordable with both my finance and time, to maximise my medical result whilst minimising the side effects of pain and discomfort so I can still carry on with my work commitments. Above all, the keloid laser treatments I have received from Jenner Chan and Dr. Chen Chew Chua of this Cosmetic Medical Clinic have allowed me to feel more confident in my own skin and improve my self esteem. I am so lucky and grateful to have discovered them and they are truly a leading example of a high quality medical service! Thank you Jenner Chan and Dr. Chen Chew Chua!"

"I have been trying to remove my Steatocystoma Multiple for years now without surgery, but I haven’t been able to do it successfully until I came to CMC. I’ve been to different dermatologists and laser clinics, but no one seemed to specialise in this area. And although they tried different methods to clear it up, none really worked. Just want to say a big thank you to Jenner and Dr Chua, seeing the results from our first session has given me hope that I can finally be free of this from my skin!"

"I did a treatment with CMC and would definitely go back again. Jenner is very attentive with the treatment, and sent me the post-treatment care and walked me through it personally. On the first visit she has also explained in detail how the treatment works and the recovery period. Unlike other skin clinic she really spent time with me to make sure I understand the treatment and the post care. She also shared a lot of advice with me regarding laser treatment and skin care. Will totally recommend CMC to my friends and will come back for laser treatment personally :)"

  4. Veliana A. ★★★★★

"I had my consultation about a week ago, and the practitioner gave me simple but really helpful advice for my skin. She recommended facial steaming, followed by a warm shower, and gently rubbing my face with a soft baby cloth. This helps remove dead skin in a gentle way without irritating acne. After trying it, my skin felt noticeably smoother. I went back for the CoolView treatment. The procedure was quick and quite comfortable, and the practitioner was very friendly, we even ended up having a nice chat during the session. My skin did get a bit red right after the treatment, but she reassured me it would settle within a couple of hours, and it did. Now, the redness is gone. I have my next treatment scheduled in 3 weeks for CoolView and CO2, and I’m excited to continue the process. Overall, I’ve had a really positive experience so far. I appreciate the practical advice that actually works, and I’m looking forward to seeing more improvement in my skin."

About this listing

Cosmetic Medical Clinic in Sydney, Sydney

Cosmetic Medical Clinic is a non-surgical practice in Sydney, a suburb of Sydney in NSW. Non-surgical cosmetic clinics provide procedures such as injectables, energy-based devices, peels and skin treatments. These services are governed by AHPRA advertising guidelines and the relevant scope-of-practice rules for the treating practitioner.

All information on this page — including contact details, opening hours, and any photos — is sourced from publicly available business directory data and the practice's own published material. This profile has not yet been independently verified by our editorial team. If you are the practice owner, you can claim the listing to confirm details and update copy. Always confirm a treating practitioner's registration directly on the AHPRA register before booking — the public register is the authoritative source for current registration status, specialist endorsements, and any conditions, undertakings or restrictions on practice.

Sydney is one of the larger cosmetic-care markets in NSW, with practices ranging from Specialist Plastic Surgeons (FRACS) operating in licensed day-hospitals through to non-surgical clinics in suburban shopfronts. When comparing practices, consider where surgery is actually performed, whether the anaesthetist is a Specialist Anaesthetist (FANZCA) where applicable, and what the clinic's written revision policy looks like. Quotes should cover the full pathway — consultation, surgical fee, anaesthetist fee, hospital fee, garments and standard follow-up — rather than a single headline figure.

Non-surgical cosmetic procedures — injectables, laser and energy-based devices, peels and skin treatments — must still be carried out by an appropriately registered practitioner working within their scope of practice. Schedule 4 prescription products (which include most cosmetic injectables) require a consultation with a doctor or nurse practitioner and an individual prescription for that patient. Reasonable practices document the practitioner providing the prescription, the practitioner administering the treatment, and the dose given.

Questions to ask before you book

  • Who is the treating practitioner, and what is their AHPRA registration number?
  • Which procedures does the practice perform on-site versus referring out?
  • For prescription products, who provides the prescription and who administers the treatment?
  • What is the protocol if you have an adverse event after a treatment?
  • What follow-up is included in the quoted price?
  • What does the full quote include — consultation, treatment, follow-up, and any garments or aftercare products?
  • Are you given written information to take home before consenting to a procedure?

How to verify any cosmetic surgeon on AHPRA

AHPRA registration is the baseline credential check for any cosmetic procedure in Australia. The five steps below take roughly two minutes and are the single most important due-diligence step before paying a deposit.

  1. 1

    Open the AHPRA register

AHPRA publishes a free public register of every registered medical practitioner in Australia. Open the official register — never rely on a third-party "verification" site.

  2. 2

Search by name and "Medical Practitioner"

Search by the practitioner's full name and select Profession: Medical Practitioner. The register returns active registrations only — if the name does not appear, do not proceed.

  3. 3

Confirm the specialty (or its absence)

Look at the "Specialty" field. A FRACS specialist plastic surgeon will list "Specialist Surgery — Plastic Surgery". Anyone who calls themselves a "cosmetic surgeon" without a recognised specialty is a general medical practitioner under AHPRA — that is a meaningful difference for surgical work.

  4. 4

Check for conditions, undertakings, or restrictions

The register flags any conditions on a practitioner's registration, including AHPRA undertakings or restrictions. Treat any flag as a reason to ask the practitioner directly what it relates to before booking.

  5. 5

    Verify hospital privileges separately

Hospital privileges are issued by the hospital, not AHPRA. For surgical procedures, ask which accredited hospital or licensed day-procedure centre the operation will take place in, and verify the surgeon has admitting rights there.
