"Iβd have to say the biggest scam in Aus for hair growth for my personnel opinion, after my first 6 month, no change. they took photos again and tried to talk them up, change lighting etc, I thought Iβd give it another go then they shut the shop after 2 treatments. Iβd recommend to Keep your money!! Donβt gift it to these scammers. Treatment was inconsistent between nurses, treatment was a lot different between nurses. The Hours varied on what they wanted with being booked in a month in advance, it changed . And I repeat there was no change at all with any hair growth. Absolute rip off."

"I came here being 21 years old after multiple comments from my mates which was making me super insecure and from the moment I stepped in they were supper reassuring and confident they could help me! All the staff are so super friendly and super informative about it what theyβre doing. I saw amazing results in just even 2 months then after another 2 months it was even better! These are my results after 4 months and I could not be happier. I feel so much more confident"

"Didnβt get any results after treatment. Hours of the business were constantly changing as well as the nurses then they eventually closed the closest clinic to me which meant I had to drive 1.5 hrs (instead of 10 minutes) to get treatment. Nurses were very inconsistent with their technique, some injecting too far forward, or too deep. Lots of pressure on buying the copper peptide which wasnβt included in the overall price, had to stock up once a month at about $80 a pop. Nurses kept asking if my hair loss was genetic or notβ¦ even though I had already stated in my initial consult that it was. Seems like itβs a loosely run ship with little consistency or transparency for patients. I wouldnβt recommend wasting the money on the treatment, they bang on about how important the home care is but itβs not even included in the price. Save your money for a flight to Turkey. I had high hopes as itβs natural and supposedly had great results. My best mate got the same treatment and had no results too. Added a screenshot of my hair as of today for reference, seems like I never even got treatment."

About this listing
Hair and Skin Science Sunshine Coast in Maroochydore, Sunshine Coast
Hair and Skin Science Sunshine Coast is a non-surgical practice in Maroochydore, a suburb of Sunshine Coast in QLD. Non-surgical cosmetic clinics provide procedures such as injectables, energy-based devices, peels and skin treatments. These services are governed by AHPRA advertising guidelines and the relevant scope-of-practice rules for the treating practitioner.
All information on this page β including contact details, opening hours, and any photos β is sourced from publicly available business directory data and the practice's own published material. This profile has not yet been independently verified by our editorial team. If you are the practice owner, you can claim the listing to confirm details and update copy. Always confirm a treating practitioner's registration directly on the AHPRA register before booking β the public register is the authoritative source for current registration status, specialist endorsements, and any conditions, undertakings or restrictions on practice.
Sunshine Coast is one of the larger cosmetic-care markets in QLD, with practices ranging from Specialist Plastic Surgeons (FRACS) operating in licensed day-hospitals through to non-surgical clinics in suburban shopfronts. When comparing practices, consider where surgery is actually performed, whether the anaesthetist is a Specialist Anaesthetist (FANZCA) where applicable, and what the clinic's written revision policy looks like. Quotes should cover the full pathway β consultation, surgical fee, anaesthetist fee, hospital fee, garments and standard follow-up β rather than a single headline figure.
Non-surgical cosmetic procedures β injectables, laser and energy-based devices, peels and skin treatments β must still be carried out by an appropriately registered practitioner working within their scope of practice. Schedule 4 prescription products (which include most cosmetic injectables) require a consultation with a doctor or nurse practitioner and an individual prescription for that patient. Reasonable practices document the practitioner providing the prescription, the practitioner administering the treatment, and the dose given.

- Which procedures does the practice perform on-site versus referring out?
- For prescription products, who provides the prescription and who administers the treatment?

- What follow-up is included in the quoted price?
- What does the full quote include β consultation, treatment, follow-up, and any garments or aftercare products?
- Are you given written information to take home before consenting to a procedure?
