"Dan is a phenomenal practitioner with a depth of knowledge in a vast area of health issues, he has outstanding interpersonal skills and is a very compassionate and decent human being. I have a number of health issues including chronic fatigue, knee and neck pain. I did Cryo Therapy, Hyperbaric, High Altitude Training and Pressure Wave Therapy. In only a few visits I had significant improvement in my neck and knee far better than any other treatment I have ever done including chiropractic, osteopathy and massage. The difference was amazing! Normally I canβt go to a gym without getting sick and fatigue but with the High Altitude I could exercise without pain and exhaustion which was very exciting because it reduces lactic acid build up. Afterwards I felt fantastic and the next day my muscles werenβt sore it was like a miracle. The hyperbaric gives me a significant lift in energy and mood. This place has it all and with Dan to guide you youβre in safe and understanding hands. Itβs truely life changing particularly if you have complex issues that other places canβt help. Itβs the best!!"

"Ive just completed a heavy workload of training and added the high altitude sessions before going away and competing at the OzTag World Cup.I highly recommend these sessions.Dan does an amazing job and theses sessions push you to your limit, while being constantly monitored.A a result I came out with the confidence both, physically and mentally to push harder when the going gets tough.Again ,highly recommended."

About this listing
Hyperbaric Cryo & Altitude Therapy in Douglas, Townsville
Hyperbaric Cryo & Altitude Therapy is a non-surgical practice in Douglas, a suburb of Townsville in QLD. Non-surgical cosmetic clinics provide procedures such as injectables, energy-based devices, peels and skin treatments. These services are governed by AHPRA advertising guidelines and the relevant scope-of-practice rules for the treating practitioner.
All information on this page β including contact details, opening hours, and any photos β is sourced from publicly available business directory data and the practice's own published material. This profile has not yet been independently verified by our editorial team. If you are the practice owner, you can claim the listing to confirm details and update copy. Always confirm a treating practitioner's registration directly on the AHPRA register before booking β the public register is the authoritative source for current registration status, specialist endorsements, and any conditions, undertakings or restrictions on practice.
Townsville is one of the larger cosmetic-care markets in QLD, with practices ranging from Specialist Plastic Surgeons (FRACS) operating in licensed day-hospitals through to non-surgical clinics in suburban shopfronts. When comparing practices, consider where surgery is actually performed, whether the anaesthetist is a Specialist Anaesthetist (FANZCA) where applicable, and what the clinic's written revision policy looks like. Quotes should cover the full pathway β consultation, surgical fee, anaesthetist fee, hospital fee, garments and standard follow-up β rather than a single headline figure.
Non-surgical cosmetic procedures β injectables, laser and energy-based devices, peels and skin treatments β must still be carried out by an appropriately registered practitioner working within their scope of practice. Schedule 4 prescription products (which include most cosmetic injectables) require a consultation with a doctor or nurse practitioner and an individual prescription for that patient. Reasonable practices document the practitioner providing the prescription, the practitioner administering the treatment, and the dose given.

- Which procedures does the practice perform on-site versus referring out?
- For prescription products, who provides the prescription and who administers the treatment?

- What follow-up is included in the quoted price?
- What does the full quote include β consultation, treatment, follow-up, and any garments or aftercare products?
- Are you given written information to take home before consenting to a procedure?
