"Had my septoplasty and inferior turbinate reduction done by Dr Cox and I’m really happy with how everything turned out. He explained everything clearly, is very confident in what he does, and made me feel comfortable from the beginning. Surgery went smoothly and my breathing is already so much better. Honestly life-changing to be able to breathe normally again, I can breathe colours. Definitely recommend Dr Cox if you’re thinking about getting this done."

"Most horrible experience of my life. Went after 8 months in advance appointment booking to help diagnose my deviated septum. Dr Lyndon Chan doesn’t only suggest I don’t have the condition but he suggests I have ADHD and diagnoses my something completely unrelated. He embarrasses me not only in front of my father but me. After getting a second opinion can confirm I have the condition and am trying to get surgery as this is causing me so much pain. Dr Lyndon Chan is the most unprofessional doctor I have ever been too. After this I had to pay a $600 consultant fee and was so emotional afterwards after my hard earned money was taken and me being told I have ADHD. Worst experience of my life"

"I highly recommend Margaret le Lacheur speech therapist & voice therapist. I had the best time working with Margaret. She was very warm and understanding and loves what she does, helping people with speech & voice therapy. Margaret has helped me gain insightful education and control of my voice. Not only that, validation and newfound confidence. I really enjoyed every appointment, and I thought I'd need more appointments than I actually needed prior to seeing Margaret."

About this listing
Illawarra ENT Head & Neck Clinic in Wollongong, Wollongong
Illawarra ENT Head & Neck Clinic is a non-surgical practice in Wollongong, a suburb of Wollongong in NSW. Non-surgical cosmetic clinics provide procedures such as injectables, energy-based devices, peels and skin treatments. These services are governed by AHPRA advertising guidelines and the relevant scope-of-practice rules for the treating practitioner.
All information on this page — including contact details, opening hours, and any photos — is sourced from publicly available business directory data and the practice's own published material. This profile has not yet been independently verified by our editorial team. If you are the practice owner, you can claim the listing to confirm details and update copy. Always confirm a treating practitioner's registration directly on the AHPRA register before booking — the public register is the authoritative source for current registration status, specialist endorsements, and any conditions, undertakings or restrictions on practice.
Wollongong is one of the larger cosmetic-care markets in NSW, with practices ranging from Specialist Plastic Surgeons (FRACS) operating in licensed day-hospitals through to non-surgical clinics in suburban shopfronts. When comparing practices, consider where surgery is actually performed, whether the anaesthetist is a Specialist Anaesthetist (FANZCA) where applicable, and what the clinic's written revision policy looks like. Quotes should cover the full pathway — consultation, surgical fee, anaesthetist fee, hospital fee, garments and standard follow-up — rather than a single headline figure.
Non-surgical cosmetic procedures — injectables, laser and energy-based devices, peels and skin treatments — must still be carried out by an appropriately registered practitioner working within their scope of practice. Schedule 4 prescription products (which include most cosmetic injectables) require a consultation with a doctor or nurse practitioner and an individual prescription for that patient. Reasonable practices document the practitioner providing the prescription, the practitioner administering the treatment, and the dose given.
Questions to ask before you book
- Who is the treating practitioner, and what is their AHPRA registration number?
- Which procedures does the practice perform on-site versus referring out?
- For prescription products, who provides the prescription and who administers the treatment?
- What is the protocol if you have an adverse event after a treatment?
- What follow-up is included in the quoted price?
- What does the full quote include — consultation, treatment, follow-up, and any garments or aftercare products?
- Are you given written information to take home before consenting to a procedure?
