"I have been a patient of Dr PK (and her highly skilled team) for over 8 years. Dr PK is exceptionally knowledgeable and trustworthy (not to mention kind and gentle!). Treatments have always been recommended based on realistic goals for me and options provided that fit within my budget. I’ve consistently been treated in a friendly and respectful manner by the entire team - the team make me feel comfortable and well informed. Kaya Cosmedica follows evidence-based practices and have the latest in skin care technology/treatments – this gives me confidence in the care I receive and gives me different options to choose from. Treatment planning and treatment procedures are clearly explained, as well as ‘down time’ or any possible risks, so that I can manage outcomes realistically and appropriately. I highly recommend this clinic to anyone seeking medical cosmetic care that is super professional and ethical. (Oh I need to also mention that the clinic itself is a beautiful place to visit because the décor is so lush!)"

"I've been seeing Dr Parvin Khindra for the last few months, and my first consultation stood out immediately. It was the most thorough assessment I'd had for this issue - she took her time, explained the diagnosis clearly, and put together a well-considered treatment plan that addressed the problem from multiple angles: prescription tablets, compounded topical treatments, and procedural options. I've sought opinions from dermatologists and specialist cosmetic physicians, and she was the first specialist to pinpoint the underlying issue and address it with a genuinely multi-pronged approach. A lot of other clinics seem to just want to sell you their latest treatment at the expense of a holistic approach, but that is definitely not the case here. Her team is very welcoming and professional - Taylah in particular. Strongly recommend for anyone seeking rigorous, medically-led care rather than a superficial fix."

About this listing
Kaya Cosmedica in South Melbourne, Melbourne
Kaya Cosmedica is a non-surgical practice in South Melbourne, a suburb of Melbourne in VIC. Non-surgical cosmetic clinics provide procedures such as injectables, energy-based devices, peels and skin treatments. These services are governed by AHPRA advertising guidelines and the relevant scope-of-practice rules for the treating practitioner.
All information on this page — including contact details, opening hours, and any photos — is sourced from publicly available business directory data and the practice's own published material. This profile has not yet been independently verified by our editorial team. If you are the practice owner, you can claim the listing to confirm details and update copy. Always confirm a treating practitioner's registration directly on the AHPRA register before booking — the public register is the authoritative source for current registration status, specialist endorsements, and any conditions, undertakings or restrictions on practice.
Melbourne is one of the larger cosmetic-care markets in VIC, with practices ranging from Specialist Plastic Surgeons (FRACS) operating in licensed day-hospitals through to non-surgical clinics in suburban shopfronts. When comparing practices, consider where surgery is actually performed, whether the anaesthetist is a Specialist Anaesthetist (FANZCA) where applicable, and what the clinic's written revision policy looks like. Quotes should cover the full pathway — consultation, surgical fee, anaesthetist fee, hospital fee, garments and standard follow-up — rather than a single headline figure.
Non-surgical cosmetic procedures — injectables, laser and energy-based devices, peels and skin treatments — must still be carried out by an appropriately registered practitioner working within their scope of practice. Schedule 4 prescription products (which include most cosmetic injectables) require a consultation with a doctor or nurse practitioner and an individual prescription for that patient. Reasonable practices document the practitioner providing the prescription, the practitioner administering the treatment, and the dose given.
Questions to ask before you book
- Who is the treating practitioner, and what is their AHPRA registration number?
- Which procedures does the practice perform on-site versus referring out?
- For prescription products, who provides the prescription and who administers the treatment?
- What is the protocol if you have an adverse event after a treatment?
- What follow-up is included in the quoted price?
- What does the full quote include — consultation, treatment, follow-up, and any garments or aftercare products?
- Are you given written information to take home before consenting to a procedure?
