"They really only deserve one star but leaving an extra for the front desk girl, as she was lovely, albeit not necessarily helpful with issues. I had microblading (and the 4+ week later touch up) in Sydney less than a year ago, and whilst it went well, I found her when outside of Australia, via IG, so it turned out to be a rental car and drive away from the eastern suburbs, which we don’t really do (I’ve not seen my Mercedes since 2010 when I moved back to NYC/London from San Francisco, have not had a drivers license in ages, last even driven a rental car in 2014), and had heard that Kristin Fisher is one of the best in Sydney and nearby. I had planned on getting my brows redone in London, where we primarily live, but due to their slow replies and disorganisation, I was unable to go in before leaving town for our places in the states for the holidays, in order to have time to come in for the touchup 4 to 6 weeks later, so planned on doing it in Sydney. For this reason, I did not need a full on microblading from scratch session, was fine with it being shadowing or any kind of alternative since obviously having existing pigment makes it easier in terms of not needing as much actual colour, work. and substance, but trickier in terms of being limited (ie I couldn’t go lighter) going over someone else’s work. Even though we sent many photos of my brows, they insisted I come in for a consult, which was annoying. It was more frustrating when we arrived and the consult didn’t exist, we just went into a room and she said so what are you interested in as if nothing had ever been said before. I don’t think she even glanced at my brows (maybe from across the room), gave a price of AU$1600, and when questioned, then it turned out it included a follow up a year later. Given you’re not allowed to purchase a heritage house in Sydney without residency visas, we are limited to visiting and I certainly would not want to pre-pay for a follow-up session a year later, nonetheless when it is not starting from scratch, as the majority of my microblading from a year prior was still in existence. We said I do not need the follow-up next year (my boyfriend accompanied me as he’s paying me back for a lot of money he owes me in “services,” hundreds of thousands USD, so makes no difference to me, but he didn’t want to pay more than needed; albeit understandably and agreed) however I expect I will need the touch up 4-6 weeks after. I will go ahead and pay for the first session (around AU$950; in fact they ended up charging more than they stated in the consult, but we did not complain since the front desk girl was sweet - they really should appreciate her since I did not care for the person that actually did my microblading and consult, nor for her work, which I’ll elaborate on below), and see what happens in terms of needing the touchup session with what they wanted to charge, as more importantly, not sure we would still be in Sydney at that time (we ultimately ended up leaving for Bali and then returned, at which point we expressed concern). The time it took was incredibly fast, and afterwards, I had a fairly noticeable gap on my right brow, but of course waited to reach out since I knew that the whole healing, scabbing, it reappears process would be dictated to me as if I was not familiar with it if I attempted to say anything off the bat. I received a feedback email about how did they do and waited to leave what I thought would be feedback until we were leaving Sydney, and it turned out it was just an email of send us some feedback, which we had already done, stating that there was a gap in the brows, then at the month plus later that the brows really don’t look any different than before I went in, without them offering any sort of resolution or remedy. The brows are fine, but aside from the front desk girl there really wasn’t anything positive, only frustrating, including and not limited to the fact that my brows look the same as before, but for nearly AU$1000 with no concern about customer dissatisfaction."

"I would not rate Kristin FIsher eyebrows. The salon was busy when I went there but the staff did not make me feel welcomed. The brow artist did not listen to what I asked for my brows and ruined about two years of working with another artist to get them to grow into areas - they just waxed them straight off and I was left with terrible looking brows that were not right for my face. I had a wedding to go to and took a chance on them because they had good google review and a high ($) price tag but the money for the service at Kristen Fisher eyebrows was not worth it. I wish I had paid less and gone to a salon where they listened to me. I thought about letting the staff know on the day that I hadn't had a good experience but I didn't think I would get a considered response to my complaint. They wanted to take my money and keep chatting. Sorry Kristin Fisher for such a negative review - I just felt really let down. (The review from Snow White was exactly my experience and I find Kristen Fisher's response hilariously awful in reply to one of her customers! I'm so surprised so many people like this salon.)"

"Very disappointing experience. My partner came in for what was essentially just a touchup, as she had fading from microblading done last year. They quoted me a price by phone as I sent pictures of her existing brows, but they still wanted us to come in for a consult. We did and it was utterly useless, except for trying to upcharge/upsell us. Nevertheless, She went in to have it done. There were noticeable gaps after (even with having preexisting microblading), and they even sent a email with no survey but asking for feedback - we provided them with feedback and they didn’t seem to care whatsoever. Reading reviews now it seems like a lot of people have experienced the same thing."

"Our experience seems to be similar to a lot of other people‘s. They insisted that we needed to come in for a microblading consultation, but then there was no consultation given whatsoever, they literally then just tried to quote a higher price than they did over the phone, but without even so much as glancing at the brows. I negotiated them down from $1800 (as apparently they want you to basically pre-pay for an as apparently they want you to basically pre-pay for a follow up a year later, just assuming that you’ll want to come back a year later) to $800, and the brows look almost exactly the same as they did before coming in, as they were done somewhere else just outside of Sydney under a year ago (for a fraction of a cost and honestly higher quality). They didn’t seem too concerned when I expressed dissatisfaction either, including early on where they just said to wait it out (it’s now been over a month). It seems like they rely on location and prior reputation rather than quality work, nonetheless at the price)."

About this listing
Kristin Fisher Eyebrows in Double Bay, Sydney
Kristin Fisher Eyebrows is a non-surgical practice in Double Bay, a suburb of Sydney in NSW. Non-surgical cosmetic clinics provide procedures such as injectables, energy-based devices, peels and skin treatments. These services are governed by AHPRA advertising guidelines and the relevant scope-of-practice rules for the treating practitioner.
All information on this page — including contact details, opening hours, and any photos — is sourced from publicly available business directory data and the practice's own published material. This profile has not yet been independently verified by our editorial team. If you are the practice owner, you can claim the listing to confirm details and update copy. Always confirm a treating practitioner's registration directly on the AHPRA register before booking — the public register is the authoritative source for current registration status, specialist endorsements, and any conditions, undertakings or restrictions on practice.
Sydney is one of the larger cosmetic-care markets in NSW, with practices ranging from Specialist Plastic Surgeons (FRACS) operating in licensed day-hospitals through to non-surgical clinics in suburban shopfronts. When comparing practices, consider where surgery is actually performed, whether the anaesthetist is a Specialist Anaesthetist (FANZCA) where applicable, and what the clinic's written revision policy looks like. Quotes should cover the full pathway — consultation, surgical fee, anaesthetist fee, hospital fee, garments and standard follow-up — rather than a single headline figure.
Non-surgical cosmetic procedures — injectables, laser and energy-based devices, peels and skin treatments — must still be carried out by an appropriately registered practitioner working within their scope of practice. Schedule 4 prescription products (which include most cosmetic injectables) require a consultation with a doctor or nurse practitioner and an individual prescription for that patient. Reasonable practices document the practitioner providing the prescription, the practitioner administering the treatment, and the dose given.
Questions to ask before you book
- Who is the treating practitioner, and what is their AHPRA registration number?
- Which procedures does the practice perform on-site versus referring out?
- For prescription products, who provides the prescription and who administers the treatment?

- What follow-up is included in the quoted price?
- What does the full quote include — consultation, treatment, follow-up, and any garments or aftercare products?
- Are you given written information to take home before consenting to a procedure?
