"I booked online for a paid consultation regarding previous filler done elsewhere and possible dissolving treatment. Instead of being offered an assessment, I received a voicemail from a receptionist or nurse that was dismissive in tone. I was told my injector was “probably doing the right thing,” despite no consultation or examination having taken place. I was also given the impression the doctor would not treat filler placed elsewhere, which was confusing given the clinic advertises dissolving and corrective filler services. I returned the call and left a voicemail seeking clarification, but no one responded. I was willing to pay for a consultation purely for professional advice. Even if the doctor could not treat me, an assessment or referral elsewhere would have been appropriate. I cannot comment on treatment results because I was never seen. My concern is with the communication and intake process. Patients seeking second opinions or help with previous cosmetic work should be treated with professionalism and respect."

"I’ve been a patient of Dr Bart for six years and couldn’t be happier. From the warm welcome when you arrive from Sharon. To the professional treatment you receive from Dr. Bart. The results are always consistent and high quality, but what truly makes the difference is the kind and caring experience every visit. It’s rare to find someone so skilled who also genuinely listens and makes you feel comfortable. Absolutely worth it.I wouldn’t go anywhere else.❤️"

About this listing
Newcastle Cosmetic Doctor in Broadmeadow, Newcastle
Newcastle Cosmetic Doctor is a non-surgical practice in Broadmeadow, a suburb of Newcastle in NSW. Non-surgical cosmetic clinics provide procedures such as injectables, energy-based devices, peels and skin treatments. These services are governed by AHPRA advertising guidelines and the relevant scope-of-practice rules for the treating practitioner.
All information on this page — including contact details, opening hours, and any photos — is sourced from publicly available business directory data and the practice's own published material. This profile has not yet been independently verified by our editorial team. If you are the practice owner, you can claim the listing to confirm details and update copy. Always confirm a treating practitioner's registration directly on the AHPRA register before booking — the public register is the authoritative source for current registration status, specialist endorsements, and any conditions, undertakings or restrictions on practice.
Newcastle is one of the larger cosmetic-care markets in NSW, with practices ranging from Specialist Plastic Surgeons (FRACS) operating in licensed day-hospitals through to non-surgical clinics in suburban shopfronts. When comparing practices, consider where surgery is actually performed, whether the anaesthetist is a Specialist Anaesthetist (FANZCA) where applicable, and what the clinic's written revision policy looks like. Quotes should cover the full pathway — consultation, surgical fee, anaesthetist fee, hospital fee, garments and standard follow-up — rather than a single headline figure.
Non-surgical cosmetic procedures — injectables, laser and energy-based devices, peels and skin treatments — must still be carried out by an appropriately registered practitioner working within their scope of practice. Schedule 4 prescription products (which include most cosmetic injectables) require a consultation with a doctor or nurse practitioner and an individual prescription for that patient. Reasonable practices document the practitioner providing the prescription, the practitioner administering the treatment, and the dose given.
Questions to ask before you book
- Who is the treating practitioner, and what is their AHPRA registration number?
- Which procedures does the practice perform on-site versus referring out?
- For prescription products, who provides the prescription and who administers the treatment?
- What is the protocol if you have an adverse event after a treatment?
- What follow-up is included in the quoted price?
- What does the full quote include — consultation, treatment, follow-up, and any garments or aftercare products?
- Are you given written information to take home before consenting to a procedure?
