- Dana O. ★★★★★
"I have been doing electrolysis with Mary over about 14 months, I've got some pretty stubborn hair that doesn't want to be evicted but am so pleased with my results so far. I have been way more confident and am so glad I started this process. I had been to one other place to try electrolysis and it doesn't compare. Mary spends a lot of time discussing the process, treating your specific skin tolerance and explaining before and aftercare thoroughly. If you have been thinking about doing it, don't wait! It's seems like a long commitment and can take a few goes before you see change but honestly the results will leave you wondering why you waited so long to start. I can't recommend Mary enough."

"I have been a client of Mary's for over 18 months and she is the best beautician that I have been to. I originally started with Mary for waxing and since then I have received a wide of variety of treatments all of which have been excellent."

"I would highly recommend Mary. I saw amazing results after a couple of sessions which I didn't experience from other places. She takes very good care and was very informative of what to expect from the very beginning!"

About this listing
Skin Deep Face and Body Beauty Therapy Canberra in Reid, Canberra
Skin Deep Face and Body Beauty Therapy Canberra is a non-surgical practice in Reid, a suburb of Canberra in ACT. Non-surgical cosmetic clinics provide procedures such as injectables, energy-based devices, peels and skin treatments. These services are governed by AHPRA advertising guidelines and the relevant scope-of-practice rules for the treating practitioner.
All information on this page — including contact details, opening hours, and any photos — is sourced from publicly available business directory data and the practice's own published material. This profile has not yet been independently verified by our editorial team. If you are the practice owner, you can claim the listing to confirm details and update copy. Always confirm a treating practitioner's registration directly on the AHPRA register before booking — the public register is the authoritative source for current registration status, specialist endorsements, and any conditions, undertakings or restrictions on practice.
Canberra is one of the larger cosmetic-care markets in ACT, with practices ranging from Specialist Plastic Surgeons (FRACS) operating in licensed day-hospitals through to non-surgical clinics in suburban shopfronts. When comparing practices, consider where surgery is actually performed, whether the anaesthetist is a Specialist Anaesthetist (FANZCA) where applicable, and what the clinic's written revision policy looks like. Quotes should cover the full pathway — consultation, surgical fee, anaesthetist fee, hospital fee, garments and standard follow-up — rather than a single headline figure.
Non-surgical cosmetic procedures — injectables, laser and energy-based devices, peels and skin treatments — must still be carried out by an appropriately registered practitioner working within their scope of practice. Schedule 4 prescription products (which include most cosmetic injectables) require a consultation with a doctor or nurse practitioner and an individual prescription for that patient. Reasonable practices document the practitioner providing the prescription, the practitioner administering the treatment, and the dose given.
Questions to ask before you book
- Who is the treating practitioner, and what is their AHPRA registration number?
- Which procedures does the practice perform on-site versus referring out?
- For prescription products, who provides the prescription and who administers the treatment?
- What is the protocol if you have an adverse event after a treatment?
- What follow-up is included in the quoted price?
- What does the full quote include — consultation, treatment, follow-up, and any garments or aftercare products?
- Are you given written information to take home before consenting to a procedure?
