"Hi everyone, it's Adam here, the original owner of the Shadow Clinic Canberra which I started in 2017 and ran until 2022. The new owner who took over after me has since closed down this clinic, but if you're looking to get SMP I am now based on the Gold Coast and work under my new brand Studio SMP Gold Coast. I also come back to Canberra every few months by demand to do treatments. Feel free to send me a message if interested. Thanks."

"I had hair alopecia due Radiatio in braun.Dani gave me a traumatic and Terrible experience. No results, false promises and phone switched off between treatments.Dani also has zero experience. She said she will make hair like markings on my frontal area which is a joke in the industry. Also despite begging and pleading with her she gave no invoice for the money given $800. In 3hours Folisim did the job which she kept huffing and panting at and I experienced extre pain in my neck since she kept pushing my neck down with her elbow for 5hours.Despite such torture I had no results and no money back. Now she started threatening me with stuff. Please never go there"

"Amazing work done here. Really welcoming environment from the staff, I would seriously recommend going here to anyone who is considering getting this kind of work done. I’ve gained a lot from this place and I’m sure others will too"

About this listing
The Shadow Clinic Canberra in Mitchell, Canberra
The Shadow Clinic Canberra is a non-surgical practice in Mitchell, a suburb of Canberra in ACT. Non-surgical cosmetic clinics provide procedures such as injectables, energy-based devices, peels and skin treatments. These services are governed by AHPRA advertising guidelines and the relevant scope-of-practice rules for the treating practitioner.
All information on this page — including contact details, opening hours, and any photos — is sourced from publicly available business directory data and the practice's own published material. This profile has not yet been independently verified by our editorial team. If you are the practice owner, you can claim the listing to confirm details and update copy. Always confirm a treating practitioner's registration directly on the AHPRA register before booking — the public register is the authoritative source for current registration status, specialist endorsements, and any conditions, undertakings or restrictions on practice.
Canberra is one of the larger cosmetic-care markets in ACT, with practices ranging from Specialist Plastic Surgeons (FRACS) operating in licensed day-hospitals through to non-surgical clinics in suburban shopfronts. When comparing practices, consider where surgery is actually performed, whether the anaesthetist is a Specialist Anaesthetist (FANZCA) where applicable, and what the clinic's written revision policy looks like. Quotes should cover the full pathway — consultation, surgical fee, anaesthetist fee, hospital fee, garments and standard follow-up — rather than a single headline figure.
Non-surgical cosmetic procedures — injectables, laser and energy-based devices, peels and skin treatments — must still be carried out by an appropriately registered practitioner working within their scope of practice. Schedule 4 prescription products (which include most cosmetic injectables) require a consultation with a doctor or nurse practitioner and an individual prescription for that patient. Reasonable practices document the practitioner providing the prescription, the practitioner administering the treatment, and the dose given.
Questions to ask before you book
- Who is the treating practitioner, and what is their AHPRA registration number?
- Which procedures does the practice perform on-site versus referring out?
- For prescription products, who provides the prescription and who administers the treatment?
- What is the protocol if you have an adverse event after a treatment?
- What follow-up is included in the quoted price?
- What does the full quote include — consultation, treatment, follow-up, and any garments or aftercare products?
- Are you given written information to take home before consenting to a procedure?
